Lauren Swanson Shares a Sweet Tribute to Josiah Duggar — While Rockin’ a Pair of Heels!
So pretty! Lauren Swanson took to Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 27 to share a sweet tribute to her new hubby, Josiah Duggar — but we can’t stop staring at her feet! The Counting On star looked fashionable wearing a flowy green skirt, striped top, and nude heels. “Can’t believe it’s almost been 2 months since I married my best friend!!!?❤️,” she wrote on their joint Instagram account, alongside the hashtags, “#2monthiversary #marriageisthebest #amazonoutfit.”
Fans were equally impressed by the 19-year-old’s style, with one person writing, “Love your outfit Lauren!!!” and another adding, “Lauren is so cute, love her style.” A third said, “Lauren you should consider making a fashion blog! I love your style!” Check out the video above to see her outfit.
The famous family is known for dressing modestly. In fact, it’s one of Jim Bob and Michelle‘s strict rules. According to TLC.com, “You won’t catch any of the Duggar girls in trendy crop tops or mini skirts. Instead, they practice modest dress, which means keeping shoulders, thighs, and cleavage covered. Not only does it prevent distractions while dating, but it also ‘keeps the relationship pure’ according to Michelle.” Luckily, Lauren still looks on-trend without showing too much skin! Of course, she is married and these rules largely apply to courtship.
The reality star tied the knot to Si at the John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR. At the time, they said in a joint statement, “What a joy it is to be husband and wife! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!”
Naturally, fans have already begun speculating when the baby announcement will be. In fact, many already think she’s pregnant. Earlier this month, the couple flew to Austria for their honeymoon and rumors started swirling on Facebook. “Sooo when’s the baby due???” one person asked on the social media platform. “The baby is due in eight months,” another responded, while a third chimed in, “Woohoo baby announcement here in about another four to six weeks.”
Hmm… only time will tell! One thing’s for sure, though — that would be one cute (and fashionable!) kiddo.
