Lauren Duggar Reveals She Met Husband Josiah as a ‘Little Kid’ and More Adorable Fun Facts!
We’re finally learning more about her! Lauren Duggar (née Swanson) surprised fans by sharing 11 fun facts about herself while taking to Instagram on Wednesday, September 11. The Counting On star opened up about her passions, secret talent and relationship with husband, Josiah Duggar, who she actually met when she was a “little kid!”
To start the list, the pregnant star, 20, revealed that she loves Jesus with her “whole heart.” Lauren also proudly dished that she was raised in central Georgia on a little farm, which is something that she still cherishes to this day.
And get this: Josiah’s wife is the oldest of nine children! She’s got three younger sisters and five brothers, so she knows what it’s like to grow up with a big family — and we’re guessing this brought her even closer to Josiah since he also comes from a sizable brood!
“I am a quarter hispanic (and no I am not fluent in Spanish, but I wish I was),” the TLC alum continued. “My middle name (Milagro) is in Spanish, it means Miracle.”
But that’s not all! Lauren even confirmed that she met her hubby’s family back in 2010 at the ATI conference in Big Sandy, Texas. “I watched Josiah grow up; I remember him as the funny/talkative little kid,” the brunette beauty shared.
Lauren also talked about her educational background, revealing that she went to college when she was 16 and finished her Associate’s degree in Nursing at 18. In the comment section, the reality star clarified that if she wants to be a certified nurse she would have to go back to school for an additional year or two to complete her requirements.
Fans might be shocked when they hear about her secret talent because it’s none other than yodeling. “I love playing the piano and enjoy singing duets with my hubby,” she added. To round off her list, Lauren wrote, “I love doing decor and design, it’s a passion of mine. I love making a room/project look beautiful (can’t wait to show y’all the nursery).”
Last but not least, Lauren revealed her favorite pass time of all: spending time with her “precious family (Duggar and Swanson side),” she wrote. “They’re my very best friends!”
Lauren and Josiah are currently expecting a precious baby girl and it’s speculated that she’ll be here by the end of the year, so it won’t be long until they are first-time parents!
