Lamar Odom Says His Marriage to Khloe Kardashian Was 'Memorable'

Aw! Lamar Odom still has nothing but love for his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian. The basketball player got candid about his time with the KUWTK star during a new interview. “Doing reality TV and being married to Khloé — besides having children and doing the motivational speaking I’m going to start doing — was the most memorable and the best part of my adulthood,” the 39-year-told TMZ’s Harvey Levin.

Lamar revealed that he hopes to connect with the Kardashian crew down the line. “Hopefully me going into public speaking can even bring me closer to the Kardashians and help me rebuild that bridge,” he said.

The athlete found love with the 35-year-old blonde beauty in 2009, but it didn’t last due to his infidelity and drug addiction. At first, the Good American designer filed for divorce in December 2013, but following the news of his near-fatal overdose in October 2015, she decided to withdraw the papers. Ultimately, Koko filed for divorce a second time in May 2016.

Despite his issues, it seems like the dad of two is in a great place. “Life is worth living,” he confessed. “I felt like God brought me back, and I feel like he wants me to just give me testimony and tell my story. And hopefully, it can build people up and make them better.”

It’s no surprise that Lamar only has good things to say about his ex since he revealed he would love to get a second chance with his former flame. “I wake up every day hoping that way, but you are going to have to ask her,” he said in May during an appearance on Sirius XM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show.

“Is she still the love of your life?” Jenny McCarthy asked. “Yeah,” he replied, looking away before facing the blonde beauty.

In his memoir, Darkness to Light, Lamar admitted that should have never been unfaithful to the Revenge Body host. “I wish I could have been more of a man. It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with,” he wrote.
