Lady Gaga and Dan Horton Were ‘Definitely on a Date’: They Looked Like ‘a Cute Couple Together’

No bad romance here! Lady Gaga was spotted kissing her audio engineer, Dan Horton, while having brunch at Granville in Studio City, California, on Sunday, July 28, and it seemed like they were happily enjoying one another’s company.

“It definitely looked like a date. In fact, I thought it was her ex,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “The way they were acting made them look like they had been a couple. They were just comfortable with each other. She sat at a table near the window, and he ordered some drinks for them while she sat at the table. He was quite the gentleman.”

In photos obtained by People magazine, the 33-year-old was standing and bending over to kiss Dan, 37, as he sat at their table outside. “She was definitely a little kissy kissy with the guy she was here with,” a second insider divulged. “She was leaning on him and touching him. They were here for about an hour. They were a cute couple together. When she got here, [the restaurant] was busy, and she had to wait. She could have asked to sit in the back where no one could see her, but she chose to sit in the front and in the open. She comes here a lot but never with a man like this and never with photographers.”

It seems like the “Shallow” crooner met her potential new man when he started working with her as her monitor engineer in November 2018 — before the launch of her Enigma residency in Las Vegas. According to his LinkedIn profile, Dan is the owner of Audio Engineering Consulting Group and has worked with other big music industry stars including Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake.

It’s only been five months since the blonde beauty split from her ex-fiancé Christian Carino. The A Star Is Born actress went to the Grammy awards solo in February, and a few weeks later, the pair confirmed they were no longer together. However, it seems like it might have been for the best. “She’s been hounded by Christian,” a source told Us Weekly in April. “She told him not to contact her.” A second insider told the publication that the relationship was “a bit toxic.”

Meanwhile, Dan’s ex-wife, Autumn Guzzardi, seemingly poked fun at their connection with a cryptic Instagram caption. “Poker Face,” the theater star, 37, captioned the stunning photo of herself on Tuesday, July 30. “#actress #broadway #headshot #nyc #musicals #offbroadway #rock #beauty #pop.”

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Dan split with his ex-wife in 2018 after Autumn filed for divorce on February 27, putting an end to their five-year relationship.
