Yikes! Bradley Cooper missed Lady Gaga’s ex-fiancé Christian Carino by a hair at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre. It is rumored that undeniable chemistry between Bradley, 44, and Gaga, 33, put a wedge in her relationship with the talent agent, 50.

On Monday, July 22, the Silver Linings Playbook star showed up to the premiere in sunglasses and a hat in an attempt to lay low. The actor skipped the red carpet altogether. Inside the theater, Bradley and the scorned ex sat nearly a few seats away from each other. Someone pass the popcorn.

The almost awkward run-in comes five months after Gaga and Christian called off their engagement in the throes of the Bradley and Gaga dating rumors from their on-screen romance in A Star Is Born. Gaga was quick to deny any speculation that the two were an item. Fans found this hard to believe after their passionate performance of “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscars. Gaga chalked up their sultry display to good acting.

After confronting the rumors, the triple threat told Jimmy Kimmel, “Yes, people saw love. And guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see.” Gaga continued, “You know, I mean, this is a love song, ‘Shallow.’ The movie, A Star Is Born, it’s a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.”

Bradley has since split from his longtime girlfriend Irina Shayk just this past June. An insider confirmed to Us Weekly that the two hadn’t “been getting along for a while.” Despite Irina being sure that the costars didn’t partake in any hanky-panky, “The noise was difficult for Irina to deal with.”

Now that steamiest on-screen couple in Hollywood are both single, who knows what will happen. All we are saying is, there were 100 people in the room and although 99 didn’t believe in Gaga, Bradley did.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits theaters on Friday, July 26.
