The plot thickens! Just because Irina Shayk has never openly condemned Bradley Cooper’s friendship with Lady Gaga, doesn’t mean that the supermodel, 33, is A-OK with it. “While Bradley and Gaga haven’t publicly been seen together recently, don’t be fooled,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “Nothing’s changed — they’re still very close and talk all the time, which doesn’t sit well with Irina and continues to fuel jealous arguments.”

Of course, the world-famous singer, 33, is hardly responsible for Brad and Irina’s split. In fact, one source insists to In Touch that the pair “never had a strong foundation to begin with,” and have “very little in common.” That said, the dating rumors surrounding Gaga and her A Star is Born costar, 44, couldn’t have been easy for Irina to stomach.

In addition to Brad and Gaga’s palpable chemistry during the award-winning film, the dynamic duo also took the stage during the 2019 Oscar awards to perform the movie’s hit single “Shallow.” The reaction was nothing if not instrumental in propelling romance rumors. So much so, that even fellow A-listers were convinced something was up between them.

Actor David Spade asked his Instagram followers, “Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f–king?” To which Bradley’s ex-wife, Jennifer Esposito, replied with “Ha,” according to a screenshot taken by CommentsByCelebs. To be fair, though, Gaga immediately shut down the speculation during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. “First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the Internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal,” she told the late night TV show host, 51.

“People saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see!” Gaga continued. “This is a love song … The movie A Star Is Born is a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.”
