‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Says He’s ‘Lonely’ While 2 Wives Embark on Vacation
Oh, Kody, you’ll be fine. Apparently, Meri Brown and Christine Brown from TLC’s Sister Wives are both off on a cruise, and Kody Brown tweeted that he’s feeling a little lonesome without two of his wives. “@rosecolored6 will probably never read these tweets,” Kody, 50, wrote on March 24 while live-tweeting that night’s episode of his reality TV show, referring to his third wife’s Twitter handle. “Right now she and @MeriBrown1 are both on a cruise. Fun for them, lonely for me. #SisterWives.”
On March 22, Meri, 48, wrote on Instagram, “Puerto Rico here we come! Looking forward to the next week of cruising with friends! Good times are comin’! 🙂 🎉🎉🎉.” She hashtagged the post “#LuLaRoeRetailer” and “#LuLaRoeForLife,” indicating that the trip is part of her work with LuLaRoe. It’s likely the annual LuLaRoe cruise, which is used as an incentive for LuLaRoe consultants to earn a certain amount of money in sales to qualify for the trip.
Christine, 46, notably did not tweet while the Sister Wives episode aired, and a quick look at her Instagram made it appear that she’s on the same cruise as her sister wife. “Getting dropped off by my girls because I’m going on a cruise!!!’ Woop woop #llrcruise #mybabies #ipushedthemoutifmywomb,” she captioned an update she shared on March 23.
Janelle Brown’s daughter Maddie Brown is a LuLaRoe consultant as well and updated her Instagram Story to indicate that she’s going on the same cruise as her other “moms.” But interestingly enough, as of March 25, none of the women posted showing that any of them are hanging out with each other on this trip. Hmm. Are they actually one big happy family, and as close as they act like they are on the reality show?
Anyway, back to Kody. People were not exactly sympathetic to the Brown family patriarch the replies to his tweet, with several people mentioning he has plenty of other people around to keep him company. “Don’t you have 2 other wives and 18 kids?” one person asked. Another wrote, “How could u possibly ever be lonely in a family that size??” Those are fair questions. Aren’t there a bunch of kids he could be running around after while two of the moms are away? Come on man — dad duties await!
