Khloé Kardashian Shows Love to Jordyn Woods During Cringeworthy Toast on ‘KUWTK’: ‘I Am So Proud of You’
So awkward. In the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that airs on Sunday, May 12, Khloé Kardashian gives a heartfelt speech about Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner. Uhh … we are cringing so hard right now. The 34-year-old raised a glass to the 21-year-old billionaire and her bestie for launching their collection for Kylie Cosmetics.
“I did want to say I am so proud of both Kylie and Jordyn. Kylie, I know how hard you have worked on your company and everything, and you’re so generous to share that with me and Kourtney [Kardashian] and Jordyn, and it’s such a blessing because you don’t have to share your blessings with us, but you kind of do,” she began her toast. “And Jordyn, for you to be turning 21, I have known you forever, and I am so proud of you and the woman you have grown into and are growing into and to see you guys just stick together and be best friends through thick and thin … such a blessing. Congratulations on everything, and this will be a huge success!”
Little did the mom of one know that her relationship with the 21-year-old was about to change forever. Jordyn was caught hooking up with Khloé’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, during a night out in Santa Monica in February. Later that same night, the SECNDNTURE designer went back to the 28-year-old’s house. “They were cuddling, holding hands. Tristan was rubbing her ass, they were definitely hooking up,” a source told In Touch at the time.
After the incident, the California native spoke about the tryst on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show, Red Table Talk. “The last thing I wanted to do was be that person. I’m no homewrecker. I would never try to hurt someone’s home,” she said. “Especially someone that I love. And someone who has a beautiful daughter. I would never try to steal someone’s man. I don’t need your situation.”
However, the Good American designer didn’t seem to agree. “Why are you lying [Jordyn Woods]??” she tweeted right after the interview aired. “If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, you ARE the reason my family broke up!”
During an interview with The New York Times, Kylie was asked if she had purposefully lowered the price of the Kylie Cosmetics’ Jordy Lip Kit. “That is just not my character. I would never do something like that, and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” she said on March 30. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”
The makeup mogul hasn’t elaborated on the scandal since, but she did post a throwback selfie from her trip with Jordyn in February. “Throwback vacation vibes,” she wrote on Instagram. Hmm … missing someone, Ky?
Only time will tell if Jordyn can repair her friendships with the Kardashians or not.
