Quality time with mom! Katie Holmes was spotted walking around New York City on a gloomy morning with her daughter, Suri Cruise, on Tuesday, June 11. The 40-year-old looked chic in a beige trench coat with a purple dress underneath while Suri wore a white long sleeved shirt with a gray skirt. Katie sported sunglasses and was holding a coffee, while Suri, 13, carried a pink umbrella in her bag and was holding onto her cell phone.

Doting Mama
The Hollywood starlet has stated that her daughter will always come before her career. “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present, and she has a stable, innocent childhood,” she told Town & Country magazine in March 2017.

Even though the Ohio native is a single parent, she tries to keep her daughter grounded as much as possible. “Of course, you try your best. I try very hard because I’m very grateful for my upbringing, my parents, my siblings,” she revealed on the Today show in 2014. “I try to do what they did for me for my little one.”

Apparently, modeling may even be in Suri’s future. “Modeling agencies are practically beating Katie’s door down to sign Suri up,” a source told Radar Online in May. “Suri’s really excited — she’s very much a little performer.”

Where’s Tom?
Katie is frequently the one chauffeuring Suri to school and events. So, where is Suri’s dad? A family source told Us Weekly in August 2016 that Tom Cruise, 56, hadn’t “seen or even called Suri in about three years.” A second insider confessed that the Mission: Impossible hunk has “no relationship with Suri.”

Meanwhile, the Batman Begins star seems to be in a great place. Katie finally debuted her relationship with Jamie Foxx at the Met Gala in May. The couple started seeing each other in 2013 but kept their connection on the DL. Even though the A-listers didn’t post together on the red carpet, they still seemed to be showing off some PDA inside the event. Suri also gives her mom the stamp of approval. “Suri goes to [Jamie] for fatherly advice and guidance,” an insider told In Touch. “Suri approves of Jamie and just wants her mom to be happy.” Aw, Katie and Suri are definitely family goals.
