She’s setting the bar! Katie Holmes always nails the red carpet and she lived up to her reputation yet again while making an appearance at the 2019 Met Gala on May 6. The actress oozed sophistication with her gorgeous gown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The Brahms: The Boy II star, 40, dropped jaws when she arrived on the scene, completing her look with some statement jewelry and a chic sparkling clutch. Over the years, Katie has proven that she isn’t afraid to step outside of the box with her high-fashion ensembles. This year’s Met Gala theme was “Camp: Notes On Fashion” and it looks like the actress added her own unique spin.

As fans know, the Met Gala is one of the biggest fashion events in the year, and celebrities love to dress to impress for the occasion. Luckily for Katie’s daughter, Suri Cruise, she will receive some of the A-lister’s favorite red carpet designs from past events. “I have a few of [my Met Gala dresses for Suri],” Katie told Entertainment Tonight. “And a lot of them have gone back to the museums where they were.”

It looks like Katie is still living her best life years after she filed for divorce from Tom Cruise back in 2012. The actress has since been romantically linked to Jamie Foxx, first sparking rumors in 2013. Katie and Jamie have kept their relationship under wraps for quite some time, but in recent months, they’ve finally been more public about their feelings for each other.

The dynamic duo was spotted out together in April 2019, holding hands and walking in Los Angeles with two of his oldest daughters. Katie and Jamie looked happier than ever and they were all smiles while hitting up gelato shop Bacio di Latte at the Westfield Century City Mall. Here’s to more fun times ahead!
