She’s back! Kate Gosselin made a rare public appearance with her twin daughters, Cara and Mady, at the 2019 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour to promote her new TLC dating series, Kate Plus Date. Kate has been keeping a low-profile for the last few months, but she was in great spirits on February 12, while opening up about her search for love. Scroll through the gallery!

The Search Begins

The TLC alum opened up about her new reality show, which will premiere in June 2019. It will document Kate’s dates set up by matchmakers.

“They were strictly blind dates, but I didn’t even know, really, their names, until minutes before,” Kate told reporters.

Keeping It Real

She continued, “A lot of the awkwardness, uncomfortable terrified reactions came from the fact that they were hit or miss. It’s a very difficult concept, and this is a very real show in that I am really looking for someone.”

Kate also explained how she kept her children in mind when filming the show, so she wanted to keep the episodes “G-rated.”

“It was important for me that my kids could watch the show and not feel cringe-y or uncomfortable,” she said.

Will She Find True Love?

Luckily, Kate has the full support of her daughters after her split from their father, Jon Gosselin, back in 2009. “We’ve been nudging her to date for years,” Mady said, according to USA Today. “She deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves to be happy.”
