From Taylor Swift to Caitlyn Jenner: A Written History of Every Single Kardashian Feud

Who can forget the infamous MTV Video Music Awards moment when Kim’s estranged husband Kanye West stormed onto the stage while Taylor, 31, received her award and the rapper announced that Beyoncé should have won instead of the country singer? That was 2009. But fast forward to 2016.  Kanye, 43, released the song “Famous,” which began with the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/why? I made that b*tch famous.” 

The “Love Story” crooner claimed she was offended by the lyrics, however, Kimye insisted she was in on it all along. In June 2016, just several months after the song’s release, Kim publicly released audio recordings of Taylor approving the lyrics. 

Taylor instead that she didn’t know the “Good Life” rapper would use an expletive. She then took a long break from the public and subsequently released her album “Reputation” in November 2017. The album was full of references to the drama, especially in the song “Look What You Made Me Do.” The music video was full of allusions such as snake symbols and a model version of herself in her 2009 VMA dress, holding her moon man award. 

Caitlyn Jenner

The Kardashians are not above fighting with their former stepdad. After Caitlyn’s coming out and transition, the 71-year-old former Olympian wrote her memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” released in April 2017. In her book, Caitlyn didn’t speak highly of her ex-wife Kris Jenner and wrote her out to be controlling. Caitlyn also revealed a few family secrets. This led to a rift between Caitlyn and Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian. The girls went for two years without speaking to Caitlyn. However, the trio have since put the past behind them and Caitlyn has been seen at family holiday parties and such.

Chloë Grace Moretz

In 2016, Chloë, 24, commented under one of Kim’s near-nude selfies, writing, “Truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.” Kim then replied, “Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is…your nylon cover is cute boo.” 

The Dark Shadows star later explained her message to Glamour in May 2016 and said, “That picture wasn’t linked to body confidence… It was done in a slightly voyeuristic light, which I felt was a little inappropriate for young women to see.”

She continued, “I would hate for young women to feel they need to post certain photos in order to gain likes, retweets, favorites, and male attention​ … It’s not about body shaming.”

Jordyn Woods

Jordyn, 23, was Kylie’s best friend for 10 years until February 2019 when her cheating scandal with Khloé’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson hit the headlines. Rumors swirled at the time that Tristan, 31, allegedly cheated on her.  The two hooked up at the party with the model confirming on Red Table Talk that the basketball player had kissed her.

Khloé then tweeted out her rage after the Red Table Talk interview aired. “Why are you lying @jordynwoods?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!” The Good American designer wrote.

She then wrote about Tristan in another tweet, saying, “Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well.”

Khloe and Tristan have since worked through the scandal, are fully back together and are coparenting their daughter True.

Jameela Jamil

Good Place star Jameela Jamil has called out the Kardashian clan several times over the years. In 2018, the NBC actress, 35, slammed them for promoting appetite suppressant lollipops on social media. She then accused them of promoting an unhealthy body image and “profiting off of the patriarchy.” 

During an appearance on the podcast Change the World at the time, Jameela stated, “The double agent for the patriarchy is basically a woman who, perhaps unknowingly, is still putting the patriarchal narrative out into the world. Is still benefitting off of, profiting off, and selling a patriarchal narrative to other women.” When she was asked about the Kardashians, she replied back, “You’re selling us self-consciousness. The same poison that made you clearly develop some sort of body dysmorphia or facial dysmorphia, you are now pouring back into the world. You’re, like, recycling hatred.”

Kim respond in an interview with the New York Times and said, “If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider. You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re OK with that.” 

Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler blasted the family in 2017 when she said she “blame[s] the Kardashians” for turning the country into a reality show. Therefore, allowing for the election of former president Donald Trump. “We don’t [have that much power,] and it’s crazy that she would even put that on somebody else,” Khloé clapped back at the comedian. 

“That’s what I don’t like about some people,” she continued. “They want to talk all this crap publicly, but when they see us they’re up our a**! It’s crazy. I don’t like that.”

Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm’s 2012 interview with Elle UK ruffled some feathers with Kim. In the interview, the Mad Men star, 50, stated, “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f***ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly….It’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me.”

After the article was published, Kim clapped back and tweeted, “I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid’ is in my opinion careless.”

Bette Midler

The KKW Beauty CEO posted one of her iconic nude selfies in March 2016. Moments later, Bette Midler tweeted out her disapproval. “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.” 

Of course, Kim then slammed the First Wives Club actress, 75, writing, “I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding.”
