‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry’s Ex Chris Lopez Is the Father of Baby No. 4

Congratulations! Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry announced she is expecting baby No.4 on Tuesday, February 4. Her baby daddy Chris Lopez is the father, Us Weekly confirms.

“We’re confirming the news, baby #4 is coming soon!” Kailyn, 27, wrote on Instagram with a celebratory emoji. “I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant and it’s been a rough few months this time around,” she added. “I’ve had nausea, morning sickness, and absolutely no energy. 😭 This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way!”

This will be baby No. 2 for Kailyn and Chris. The two already share a 2-year-old son together, Lux. Their relationship has been on and off since they first linked up in 2015. Although they’ve had their differences, they have appeared to be chummy in recent months.

Back in October, Chris acknowledged his absence during Kailyn’s pregnancy with Lux and admitted he should have done things differently. “Here’s an honest moment for y’all,” he began during an Instagram Q&A. “I wouldn’t say regret but I wish I was there more for his mother while she was pregnant with him,” he revealed. “She really carried my son for nine months and I was f–kin’ up.”

With his remorse, it looks like Chris will be a lot more present this time around. According to Kailyn, he has already stepped it up. She revealed Chris makes the best baby daddy during a Q&A with fans. In addition to Lux, the reality star shares Isaac, 10,  with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and Lincoln, 6, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.

While the two appear to be on good terms, back in September they were at odds over filming their son, Lux, for Teen Mom 2. The dad expressed his discomfort for people recognizing himself and their son. Kailyn admitted she didn’t really understand where Chris was coming from. “It bothers him. I don’t know. It’s a battle I’m not choosing,” she said on the September 24 episode of the MTV reality show. “I want to show my life with all three of my kids, not just the older two,” she said.
