Justin Timberlake Responds After Ex Britney Spears Shares Video Dancing to His Song ‘Filthy’
What bad blood? After Britney Spears danced to ex Justin Timberlake‘s song “Filthy” on Instagram, the dad of one, 39, reciprocated the love by commenting on her post with a laughing emoji and several raised hands.
Of course, he wasn’t the only commenter. Brit’s current boyfriend, Sam Asghari, also shared his thoughts on the clip, writing, “Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, even MySpace was inspired by you.” We stan a supportive man! Jamie Lynn Spears even got in on the commenting and chimed in, “Blogs are already plotting their outrageous stories … you keep having fun and looking cute, tho!!”
In December 2019, a source told Life & Style that Jamie encouraged her big sis, 38, to take a step back from social media. “Jamie Lynn told Britney that sometimes the healthiest thing is to step back and take a break,” the source noted. “Britney is so super sensitive and vulnerable and reading all the comments people leave on her page can be really damaging to her. Jamie Lynn is one of the very few people who can speak candidly to Britney and be honest with her.”
“She truly lives in a bubble because the only people she sees are Sam, her bodyguards/staff and her boys,” the insider added. “She doesn’t have people giving her feedback on how she looks. So when she reads these comments, it’s like a slap in the face.”
That said, she was probably thrilled with the support she received on her latest post. “This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you’re supposed to do these days!!!!!” the pop princess captioned the clip on April 15. “As you can see I’m not really dancing folks …… I’m just very bored. P.S. I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey, the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT!!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT’S GOOD!!!!!!”
