Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Showed ‘No Signs of Affection’ at ‘The Sinner’ Premiere Post-Scandal
Still working things out? Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel attended their first red carpet event post-PDA scandal, and the pair “showed no signs of affection,” an eyewitness tells In Touch exclusively of their time together at The Sinner premiere afterparty, presented by USA Network, on Monday, February 3. “Once Jessica arrived, she walked up to him, and they quietly made their way into the afterparty — not holding hands or showing any sign of warmth” toward one another.
As the night went on, “they barely interacted,” the insider reveals. “They were doing their own thing — Justin was hanging out with the guys, and Jessica seemed to be tending to work obligations with catching up, photos, etc.” Back in November, Justin was caught holding hands with his Palmer costar Alisha Wainwright.
Despite the PDA scandal, the 39-year-old pop star and the 37-year-old actress were “in good spirits” throughout the party but never held hands or hugged, the source continues, noting Justin was wearing his wedding band. “There didn’t seem to be tension, but if you didn’t know they were together, you would never think they were a couple, let alone married. There was an obvious level of distance as they didn’t have one-on-one time and were rarely talking with the same group.”
The Hollywood A-listers — who share 4-year-old son Silas — managed to take some pictures at the soirée, where they looked happy while posing for the camera. The handsome hunk sported a black outfit while the brunette beauty wore a white collared shirt with black pants and a plaid jacket.
In November, Justin was spotted canoodling with Alisha, 30, at a bar in New Orleans, but he ultimately apologized for his actions. From then on, it seemed like the two were trying to move forward as they were spotted in New York City in late January walking arm in arm, and Jessica even tagged her husband in a parenting post on Instagram recently. “Justin knows he’s got a lot of making up to do. Being in New Orleans made it difficult — he was so far away from Jessica, but since returning to Los Angeles, he’s been working hard to prove his love and reignite the spark. The way Jessica sees it, actions speak louder than words,” another source previously told In Touch.
In fact, the 7th Heaven alum shared a sweet message and throwback photos of her man in honor of his recent trip around the sun on social media. “Happy birthday to the most timeless man I know,” she wrote on Instagram on January 31. “You somehow grow up without growing old. We love you so much.”
At the end of the day, Jessica and Justin “love each other” and “are on the same page,” the second insider revealed about their current relationship status. “They both agreed to work through their issues together.”
Hopefully, this is just a small bump in the road for #Jusicca.
