Marjorie Jackson, who was once in a short-lived courtship with Counting On star Josiah Duggar, apparently went and shot a gun in jeans and heels for her birthday, according to a photo she shared to Instagram. 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On fans may recall that Josiah, 22, and Marjorie, 21, ended their courtship just four months after confirming it. The official Duggar family Facebook account shared in a statement in August 2015, “Both Josiah and Marjorie have enjoyed getting to know each other and to build their friendship over the past months. We are so grateful that they each are seeking the Lord’s will for their future. A few weeks ago Marjorie and Josiah agreed to end their courtship, keeping in step with what they believe the Lord’s will is. Both are thankful for the time getting to know each other, and their families continue to enjoy each other’s company and close friendship.” AKA, one of them probably dumped the other one, and our money’s on Josiah gettin’ dumped.

Honestly, it really seems like Marjorie dodged a bullet by not getting married off and joining the Duggar family. She’s written and illustrated two books, gone to college to study graphic design, and traveled the world. Chances are, if she’d married Josiah years ago, she might not have accomplished all of that. Keep living it up, Marjorie!
