Uh, Is Lauren Swanson Okay? Josiah Duggar and His New Wife Thank Fans Post-Wedding in Bizarre Video
Serious question: Is Lauren Swanson OK? The Counting On star got married to Josiah Duggar last week, and while she should be on cloud nine, a new video posted to YouTube seems to tell a different story. The famous family shared a clip of the couple thanking fans post-nuptials, and she appeared to be nervous, out of breath, and quite frankly, terrified. Watch the video above for all the bizarre details.
According to People, the duo got married at the John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, AR. The ceremony, which was officiated by Lauren's father Dwain Swanson, had a romantic theme with flowers and wood. Lauren's new sisters-in-law Jana Duggar and Anna Duggar helped make each of the eight bridesmaids dresses, and guests munched on cupcakes, candy, and a heart-shaped wedding cake.
"What a joy it is to be husband and wife!" the couple exclaimed in a joint statement. "Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!"
Meanwhile, Si's former flame, Marjorie Jackson, has been living her best life — wearing pants, going to college, and traveling the world. She also has a new baby brother! "Bro and I hit it off right from the start," she wrote in a caption on a July 7 Instagram post. "I've been here 24 hours and IDK if Grant's left my arms once. (And I've fought all four sisters who've tried to snatch him from me). So sweet!
Here's to hoping Lauren was just nervous in the clip? And not that she's seriously regretting her decision to tie the knot…
