Jon Gosselin’s daughter Hannah said there is no truth to the claims her father was physically abusive to her 16-year-old brother Collin in a new interview.

She described the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star, 43, as a “very supportive dad,” and slammed speculation Jon would ever hurt them. “My dad loves us,” Hannah told the Daily Mail on Wednesday, September 16, following the bombshell allegations made against the DJ earlier this month.

Hannah, 16, claimed she was present when the alleged incident between Jon and Collin took place and said her dad never laid a hand on him. “Collin is facing many difficult issues and my dad is doing everything in his power to help him,” she told the site, noting the ex-TV personality has always been there for both of them.

During his own interview with the outlet, Jon denied he was ever abusive. “It’s not true, I would never hit Collin. I love him with all my heart,” the father of eight said.

Collin previously accused Jon of “punching” and “kicking” him in a now-deleted Instagram post uncovered on September 10, leading to an investigation by the Berks County Children & Youth Services in Pennsylvania.

“No charges have been filed against [Jon] and there’s no ongoing Children & Youth Services investigation,” a rep for the TLC alum told In Touch in an update amid the family drama. “Collin endured severe trauma. Jon is a loving father who has worked hard to ensure that his son gets the support and help he needs.”

Jon was granted full physical and legal custody of Collin in December 2018, months after daughter Hannah moved in with him.

Earlier today, Jon’s ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, sounded off on the ordeal and called him a “violent and abusive person” in an interview with People. However, Jon’s rep refuted the claims, telling In Touch the “recent allegations were deemed unfounded by the police department and CYS within 24 hours. Kate’s malicious statements are libelous and if her false accusations of abuse continue, legal action will be taken.”

Jon’s mother, Pamela Gosselin, also recently rushed to his defense and denied the abuse claims, pointing out her son “fought” for years to “take care” of Collin.
