Jon Gosselin Reveals Child Who Went Missing Near His Home Has Been Found
Rejoice! After Jon Gosselin revealed that a boy went missing from his area. He was happy to later announce that the child has since been found.
On Tuesday, July 30, Jon, 42, confirmed that the boy was home and safe. “Thank you for everyone that shared the post, they found him safe!!!! 🙏🏼” wrote the reality star under a photo of the boy.
Just hours before, Jon took to Instagram to alert his following of the lost boy and recruit help in the search. The former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star posted a screenshot of the Lower Heidelberg Township Police Facebook page providing information on the child. The message stated that the boy was autistic and left his home in the wee hours of the morning. “Please be on the lookout for this child!!! I know many of you that follow me might not live around my area but many of you might!!!” wrote the dad of eight. “Please call 911 if you do spot him, this is very close to my area and everyone is very concerned!!! Thank you!!!”
Many fans chimed in that they are sending their prayers and hope that the boy will be found. Looks like their well-wishes worked now that the boy is home safe.
Jon frequently uses social media for activism in addition to sharing photos from his DJ gigs and family outings. He often posts pictures of his longtime girlfriend Colleen Conrad. Family and the safety of his children are super important to this dad and his ladylove. The nurse has two children, a son named Jesse and a daughter named Jordan, from a previous relationship and has been a great role model to Jon’s children, both age 15. “They love her. She’s a great parent,” the former TLC star exclusively told In Touch back in December. “They respect her as a mom, too.”
We are so happy that Jon helped bring the lost boy back to safety. Keep being a great dad, Jon!
