Daddy Duty By Day, DJ By Night! Jon Gosselin Hits The Turntables After Bonding With Daughter Hannah
Staying on his grind! Jon Gosselin has a pretty busy schedule these days, but he’s managing to keep up with everything. Aside from spending more time with his daughter Hannah, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star has been promoting his latest DJ gigs.
“Debut! Silent Disco at Barnaby’s in West Chester, PA this Thursday September 20th! 9-2am,” Jon, 41, captioned his Instagram post on Sept. 17. Prior to that, he worked the turntables in Mount Joy. “Back at the Watering Trough tonight 10-2am,” Jon wrote on Sept. 6. The former reality star was even booked for several gigs in August, and he couldn’t have been more hyped about it, writing: “The weekend starts now! Friday Night: Knock in Harrisburg – 12-2am, Saturday Night: Building 24 Lounge – 10-2am. Let’s do this! So ready to spin the tunes.”
Jon started pursuing his DJing career in 2015, working 12 to 15 jobs per month in small Pennsylvania venues and it’s clearly something he’s passionate about. He reportedly works a steady job and earns extra money on the side as a disc jockey. “I’m a member of the Senate DJ group and I also help with Promotion,” he told Entertainment Tonight back in March. “I DJ at the club sometimes, but I find promotion is more rewarding both financially and emotionally. I like taking care of people and making others feel welcome.”
Fast forward to now, Jon’s been documenting his daily routine on social media and he’s really embracing daddy duty, especially because Hannah “permanently lives” with him. “Off to get blood work done since I got to stay healthy, and then I got to go to work, and then I got to go home,” he recently said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories. Just last month, Jon confirmed that he has full custody of Hannah during a video clip obtained by Radar. Ever since then, he’s been sharing adorable pics with his 14-year-old daughter!
