Jinger Duggar Puts Precious Daughter Felicity In Jeans And Fans Are Like Yas, Queen!
Denim dream! Fans are praising Jinger Duggar for playing by her own rules when it comes to parenting her baby girl. The Counting On star recently shared a photo of Felicity Vuolo wearing a pair of jeans on Instagram and her precious daughter looked so stylish.
In the snap, Felicity is all bundled up while sitting on the lap of longtime family TLC cameraman, “Uncle Scott.” Fans couldn’t help but notice the three-month-old was rocking a pair of pants, defying the family’s strict dress code. The Duggar girls used to wear only long skirts and dresses while growing up, which were the rules that Michelle, 52, and Jim Bob Duggar, 53, put in place for their daughters. “Love that she is in jeans. Expand the horizons for the next generation,” one fan gushed in the comment section. “Honestly I’m happy to see pants on the little cutie, u can wear pants and be very modest,” another chimed in while a third added: “Love her little jeans!”
Michelle previously explained why she wanted her daughters to wear skirts and dresses. “Jim Bob and I had a conversation at that point and I said to him, I really feel like the Lord is impressing upon me that I should be modest in what I wear. And also, that I really should be defining who I am as a woman by choosing to wear dresses and skirts,” she told TLC in 2013. “As we studied as a family, we found we could come up with our idea of what we thought modesty was, but we really wanted to see what the scriptures said about it.”
As of late, Jinger’s been doing things her own way while raising Felicity with her husband Jeremy Vuolo, 31. The reality star, 24, is the only Duggar daughter not living in Arkansas and she also didn’t follow family tradition by opting to have a hospital birth. “Some of my sisters have been through a bit of a tough time with labor and delivery, so I have decided just to go ahead and switch to the hospital,” Jinger said during an episode of Counting On. “That just puts me at ease knowing, ‘Okay, if I need anything, it’s here,’ and I think it’ll help me be more relaxed in the long run.”
