34 Years And Counting! Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar Are ‘More In Love Than Ever’
Not every couple can maintain the spark decades after their wedding, but Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are proof that the romance can survive if you work for it. Over the summer, the couple celebrated 34 years of marriage, but we guess when you’re this in love, every weekend feels like a special occasion.
A few days ago, the parents of 19 (20 if you count their adopted grand-nephew, Tyler) posted a sweet photo together on Instagram and shared their love for each other once more. Though the couple were likely just out on a date night, the caption of their picture made it seem like they were were celebrating something very specific. More than a third of the comments on the post were congratulating the TLC stars on reaching the milestone — and that number totaled more than 200 different well-wishes.
A few fans tried to clarify the confusion, but it was to no avail.
This kind of post is hardly new for Jim Bob and Michelle, though. Back in September, the 53-year-old father posted a picture of his bride and him in front of the setting sun, writing, “The beauty of the sunset pales in comparison to the beauty of the woman beside me!” Last summer saw a photo of them smiling and rocking leis in Hawaii captioned, “Me and my love in beautiful Kauai!” And who can forget that “big hunk” post the parents shared a few years back? Guess they’re just so in love that every day is cause for celebration!
