Six months after announcing the end of Dillard Family Ministries, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's non-profit has been officially shut down. The charity, which has been plagued with scandals over the years, stopped accepting donations late last summer.

"The company was dissolved on February 8, 2018 by the Board of Directors," the spokesperson for Arkansas Secretary of State told Radar Online. This past August, Jill and Derick revealed they were discontinuing the non-profit on their website after it was slammed by fans. "Thank you so much for your support of Dillard Family Ministries through your prayers and financial resources,” the controversial couple wrote. "Beginning this month, we are discontinuing Dillard Family Ministries and will no longer be accepting donations through this organization."

This did not stop Derick from turning to Pure Charity to raise money to serve at his home church of Cross Church School of Ministry. "I am so excited about this incredible opportunity for further ministry development, and I would like to invite you to share in this excitement with me," a description of the fundraiser read. "I have a donations goal of $6,500. This will enable me to fulfill my specific calling to ministry this year, including trips for Gospel-advancement and humanitarian work in Northwest Arkansas, North America, and abroad." That fundraiser was also shut down.

Shortly after, Derick was fired from Counting On for his homphobic comments against transgender teen Jazz Jennings. "A ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality,” he tweeted at the time. "Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid. It’s ordained by God." However, he continues to claim his family quit the show. "For the record, I was never fired. I just felt it was best for my family to cut ties months ago, as we are heading in a different direction," Derick said. "Yes, I’m no longer doing [the show], but nowhere did they say that I was fired. Big difference. You can’t be fired from somewhere you never worked."
