It's a great day in Duggarland when a Duggar wears pants. However, Jill Duggar's skinny jeans are not enough to distract from the fact that her husband Derick Dillard is still a horrible person. Just days after Derick called Nate Berkus' family a "travesty," the former Counting On star rocked an outfit that would make Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar cringe.
Along with a sharing a photo of her denim jeans on Instagram, Jill also wore the ~rebellious~ style in a YouTube where she showed off a stroller trick she learned from her strict mom. Watch the video above to see the mother-of-two rocking skinny jeans.
Last week, Derick attacked fellow TLC stars Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent for their "abnormal" family. "What a travesty of family," he wrote on Twitter. "It's sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal." However, Nate took the high road and responded with a classy clapback. "My hope with having a show like #NateandJbydesign on TLC, where we go into people’s homes and welcome viewers into ours, is that we can start to break down barriers [and] normalize the way our family looks [and] the way our family loves," he wrote.
This isn't the first time Derick has made controversial comments on social media. Last year, he also made some transphobic remarks about another TLC star Jazz Jennings, writing, "I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child. It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on TV these days."
Unlike Derick, Jill makes a statement through her fashion choices, nose ring, and henna tattoos — and not uneducated social media rants. Love the Duggars? Be sure to join our Duggars Facebook group to chat about all the latest updates and juicy gossip!
