You go Jessa Duggar! The 25-year-old mama was once hailed as the one of the Golden Children of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, but in recent years — as she’s started her own family and become more independent — the mother-of-two has gone a little wild! Particularly when it comes to her dress code, as she was recently spotted rockin’ a short skirt — knees present and all — in an episode of Counting On. See the ~racy~ ensemble in the video above!

In recent months, the Duggar daughters have definitely loosened up when it comes to their dress code; Jessa’s Jill has definitely become more relaxed when it comes to the family’s strict dress code — we’ve seen Mrs. Dillard rock jeans, high heels, and even a nose ring! All the sisters seem to have chilled out a bit when it comes to their dress code as we’ve seen all the married Duggar daughters — Jill, Jinger, Jessa, and Joy — wear pants at one point or another since saying “I do!”

In the past, Michelle Duggar explained that she and her daughters typically wear long skirts in an effort to not “defraud” those around them. “After I was born again and became a Christian, I really began to cover up,” the mother-of-19 explained in a 2013 interview. “I felt like the Lord was saying to me, ‘You know what, you probably shouldn’t be wearing that. It’s a bit low cut, or a bit too high, you know?’ I just really felt like I needed to ober what God was saying to me and understand later. And then I saw in the scriptures a lot of things that helped me understand why I was feeling uncomfortable with my previous clothing choices.”

As a result of this moment of enlightenment, she began wearing her signature long skirts — and her daughters soon followed her lead. “As we studied as a family, we found we could come up with our idea of what we thought modesty was, but we really wanted to see what the scriptures said about it,” she explained. “Our interpretation was that from the next down to the knee should be covered. By keeping those private ares covered, there’s not any ‘defrauding’ going on.”

By her definition, “defrauding” means “stirring up desires that cannot be righteously fulfilled.” Hopefully Jessa isn’t “defrauding” anyone with her skirt — because we are digging this look!
