Girls night! Jana Duggar was spotted having dinner with her best friend Laura DeMasie, one month after it was revealed they’re not dating. Jessa Duggar joined the ladies for a delicious meal and she documented their fun-filled outing on Instagram.

“These two,” Jessa, 25, captioned the pic with heart-eyed emojis. The mother-of-two also shared a snap of her tasty dish at Noodles in Fay, AR. “You want the recipe. So do I,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. The squad appeared to have a great time, as Jana and Laura were all smiles while posing for a cute pic. Fans have long speculated a romance was brewing between Jana, 28, and Laura since they were seen together on the show, on various family trips, and via social media.

However, Jana’s brother-in-law Derick Dillard, 29, denied the speculation via Twitter in September. “Is Jana dating her friend Laura? There are tons of rumors flying. Set the record straight,” one fan asked and the former Counting On star replied: “uh no.” Another addressed how his response didn’t completely shut down the rumors, writing: “Derick you should have put just ‘no’ the ‘uh’ implies you don’t know lol, so this is not confirmation for the masses.” That’s when Laura stepped in herself to set the record straight once and for all.

“How about this then: No,” Laura chimed in. Even though Jana’s BFF cleared the air, some are wondering if the Duggar family’s “traditional family values” are preventing Jana from coming out. However, the reality star previously did talk about her single status and revealed that she’s waiting to find her Mr. Right. “I know how it feels to wait for ‘Prince Charming’ to come along. I’m still waiting. Waiting is not always easy. Especially in those times when all the married siblings are getting together and you can’t go along because your not part of ‘that’ group,” she told Crown of Beauty. We’re glad to see Jana and Laura still hanging out, despite the dating rumors!
