Fans Think Jana Duggar Should Be the Next ‘Bachelorette’ and Wait, We Actually Love That
We can just picture it now: Jana Duggar standing in front of a group of eligible men in a gorgeous, ankle-length gown that covers every inch of her body, and handing out pickles to prospective husbands. Wouldn’t it just be magical? That’s the sort of television mashup that fans need — no, that fans deserve!
Unfortunately, there’s been no official talk of the notoriously single reality star becoming the next Bachelorette, but that hasn't stopped fans from speaking up. On July 16, TLC shared a new trailer for the upcoming season of Counting On and while the comment section was full of the usual Duggar drivel, there was one trend that stood out: People want Jana on The Bachelorette, like, yesterday.
"Maybe Jana should be the next Bachelorette!!" one fan commented. "I’ve never watched that show, but I’d totally watch it for Jan," chimed another. Of course, there were some people who doubted the potential hybrid. "I don’t think a season of side hugs would bring in the ratings," added one hater. "Uh, not going to happen. Does she even date at all?" wrote another.
Here’s hoping these networks, cough ABC cough, ignore the trolls and pay attention to the fans! Jana deserves some loving. After all, being 28 and unmarried in the Duggar family basically means she’s going to be put out to pasture any minute. Clock's ticking, Jana. Ignore your garden for a minute and go find your soulmate.
