Matt Roloff Reveals He Did Some ‘Soul-Searching’ Before Signing On For A New Season Of ‘LPBW’
Say it ain’t so! Matt Roloff scared the heck out of fans when he took to Instagram earlier this week to reveal he considered quitting Little People, Big World. The 56-year-old wrote in a caption that he had to do some serious “soul searching” before agreeing to sign on for a new season. Check out the video about to see why he considered leaving the show.
Following Matt’s announcement, one person wrote, “So glad you’re not leaving us. We need your show in our lives and to follow your loved [ones] as they grow and change.” Another exclaimed, “Thank goodness!” and a third chimed in, “I’m glad you aren’t going anywhere.”
On July 10, Matt’s son, Jeremy, and his wife, Audrey, announced they were quitting the show to pursue other opportunities. “After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come,” Jer wrote on Instagram. “A year ago, I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. ?? We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically — the show must go on!”
Although we’re going to miss the couple being on the show — mainly because we can’t get enough of their baby girl, Ember! — we’re happy to hear Matt is sticking around. The show just wouldn’t be the same without him!
