Reacting to the News

After finding out that he popped the question to Crystal, Holly told E! News that she was “very surprised” to hear he was going to wed again. They married in December 2012.

The couple exchanged their vows in September 2013 at Disneyland and Bridget even served as her bridesmaid for the special occasion.

Breaking Her Silence

When she released her memoir in 2015, Holly made all sorts of shocking allegations about how life was in the mansion. The TV star called Hugh a “manipulator” that “pitted” the girls against each other. She also made other jaw-dropping claims about how he allegedly offered her drugs and was verbally abusive.

Firing Back

Hugh later released a statement denying her accusations, saying she’s only speaking out “in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.”

Another Point of View

Kendra also defended Hugh while sharing her thoughts on the controversy. “The proof is out there on The Girls Next Door. At the end of the day, people made up their minds already if they believe it or not. So I can’t dictate. I can’t manipulate anybody’s minds,” she told Us Weekly.

Despite the fallout, Holly said she still felt confident in her decision to tell her side of the story. “I don’t even care what his reaction is to this,” she told E! News. “I’m doing this for me and I’m doing this so people can learn from my mistakes.”

New Details

More recently, Holly shared a life update during her interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and dished if she’s still on good terms with her former Girls Next Door costars. “Bridget and I have always been close,” the star revealed on April 7, 2021. “We’ve always been friends since day one. She is [the sweetest].” As for if she is pals with Kendra, Holly kept her response short and simple: “No.”

Hindsight Revelations

While looking back at her past, Holly also recalled having “boring basic sex” with Hugh. In hindsight, the OnlyFans content creator said she was grateful that she never got pregnant when they were together.

During the interview, Holly also implied that Kendra could have lied about not having sex with Hugh before getting an invite to move into the mansion. “I’m not trying to slut shame anybody or anything, but nobody ever got asked to move in unless they had slept with him,” the mom of two said.

Sounding Off

Kendra later responded to Holly’s comments via E! News’ Instagram post and let it be known she’s over the Playboy drama and wants to stop talking about it. “Times have changed. I forgive and have kids to love and focus on,” she commented, also shutting down claims she was “hating” on Holly for speaking out. 

“I wish I had more time with Holly to understand this side … I wish her the best in life, and this helps heal her,” Kendra wrote in another comment.

Holly later opened up about her battle with body dysmorphia while she was living at the Playboy Mansion. “I really feel like worrying about what I look like has gotten in the way of me living my best life,” she recalled via a TikTok clip in July.

In September, the star proudly showed off her bikini body in a hot pink two-piece, getting several supportive comments from fans happy to see her confidence.

Getting Candid

Holly opened up about her sex life with Hugh during the September 19 episode of the “Girls Next Level” podcast, telling cohost Bridget Marquardt how she was “disgusted” by the way the Playboy founder would use baby oil for lubrication after she repeatedly asked him to stop. “I don’t know what his hang-up was with it,” Holly recalled.

Though her gynecologist advised her to no longer use baby oil as lubricant, Hugh allegedly continued to use it in secret. “It got to the point where I refused to use it, but then other people would tell me that he would — in the bedroom — put it on his hand and then put it on me when my back was turned and I didn’t know he was doing it,” she explained.

“Which is so foul and so nonconsensual and so gross,” the Down the Rabbit Hole author continued. “I had forgotten about that for the longest time, but I was reminded of it for some reason and it made me angry all over again.”
