Do not come for Mrs. Bieber! Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) took some time recently to reflect on what’s really important in life. The 22-year-old model shared a couple of very introspective messages with her fans via her Instagram Story but when one fan criticized her message, Hailey was quick to respond and she put the fan on blast with her epic clapback.

“Taking time to really be grateful for the smallest things in life goes a very long way for your soul. Never hurts to remind yourself to have gratitude, even for the littlest of things,” Hailey wrote in her message on Instagram. “Today I’m grateful to be sitting in the sunshine eating lunch … May not seem like the biggest deal but reminding myself how wonderful it is made me smile thank you God for the little things. 🙏🏽The smallest things in life will make you happy if you let them.”

A fan account reposted Hailey’s IG story and a fan took to the comments section to make fun of Hailey. “My husband is worth 265 million but it’s the little things that make me happy ha ha ha,” the fan wrote.

But Hailey did not take kindly to the shade. “Money doesn’t = happiness. At all. You can be the wealthiest person in [sic] the planet and be miserable,” she wrote. “Not fair to judge people’s circumstances from the outside … Am I not allowed to be grateful to sit in the sunshine and enjoy my day like a regular person?”

While it’s true that Hailey and her husband, pop star Justin Bieber, are very wealthy — they recently purchased and moved an $8.5 million home in Beverly Hills earlier this month — it’s also true that money can’t buy happiness. Justin, 25, has been very open recently about his struggles with mental health. On April 8, he revealed that Hailey is the only who has been helping him through it.

“You have walked hand and hand with me as I continue to get my emotions, mind, body and soul intact! You have given me so much strength, support, encouragement and joy! I just wanted to publicly honor you,” Justin declared on Instagram.
