Husband of the year award! When a fan slammed Justin Bieber’s marriage to Hailey Baldwin on social media, the pop star obviously stuck up for his lady. Now, a source revealed exclusively to In Touch that the model, 22, is thrilled that her beau has her back.

“Hailey didn’t make Justin put that statement out there,” the insider explained. “But she’s happy that he did. He loves Hailey and is committed to spending the rest of his life with her.”

For years, fans speculated that the 25-year-old was still in love with his ex Selena Gomez after they dated on and off for seven years. Well, it looks like everyone finally got an answer when Justin addressed the rumors on Tuesday, March 26.

“I absolutely loved and love Selena,” he wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram. “She will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heels in love with my wife, and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me, period. The fact that you want to spend your day dedicating yourself to hate says a lot about you, and if this was some sick ploy to get my attention [sic] are wrong on so many levels.”

He continued, “I’ve seen multiple people say things like this and will never respond again to a message like this because I don’t like to give my energy, but this is a reply to all immature sick people who send Hailey hurtful messages like ‘He always goes back to Selena’ or ‘Selena is better for him.’ YOU HAVE NO IDEA MY LIFE and what’s good for me!!”

At the end of the day, Justin wants everyone to know that he is happy with his wifey. “Hailey is my bride, period. If you don’t like that or support that, that means you don’t support me,” he said. “And if you don’t support me, you’re not a fan nor a good person. If you were raised right, your parents would have said if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything.”
