Fans took to the comments to praise Gwyn for her relationship with her ex and his partner. “This friendship is too precious 😭,” one fan wrote, and another commented, “You are a gem @gwynethpaltrow !! Changing all the ex rules. More power to you!!!👏👏🙌🏼🙌🏼.”

Gwyn was married to the Coldplay rocker for nearly a decade when she famously announced their decision to “consciously uncouple” in 2014. The Iron Man star filed for divorce in 2015, and their divorce was finalized the following year. In the years since their split, Gwyn and Chris maintained a strong friendship and coparenting relationship for their two children, 15-year-old daughter, Apple and 13-year-old, son Moses.

Chris first sparked dating rumors with Dakota in October 2017, after they were spotted out on a date. They split briefly in June 2019, but reconciled in August and Chris’ ex-wife had something to do with their reconciliation, according to Us Weekly. “Gwyneth is the one who pushed them to do it,” an insider revealed to the outlet at the time.

Gwyn has gotten close with the Peanut Butter Falcon star over the years. In April 2019, they posed for a cute photo together while celebrating their mutual friend Derek Blasberg’s 37th birthday in Los Angeles.

But Gwyn isn’t the only lady in the “Something Just Like This” crooner’s life who is keen on Dakota. Insiders previously revealed Gwyn and Chris’ daughter, Apple, has bonded with Dakota, too.

“Dakota knows her place, she isn’t pretending to be Apple’s mom or one of her girlfriends,” the source exclusively told In Touch. “Apple is a very mature 14-year-old, she understands her parent’s relationship, their solid friendship, and she feels lucky to have them both in her and her brothers’ life.”

Chris is also friendly with Gwyn’s new husband, TV producer Brad Falchuk, the Goop founder revealed “Advertising Week: How Do You Stand Out From the Crowd?” panel in New York City in September. She said she thinks their friendship is was made possible “because of conscious uncoupling.”
