Year one, done 💙

The Goop founder and TV producer married in a private ceremony in the Hamptons. Despite their nuptials, the couple moved in together just recently. “Married life has been really good. We took a year to let everybody [in the family] take it in and let the dust settle. And now we’re moving in together this month,” she told InStyle back in August. “I adore my husband. He’s brilliant and deeply kind. I feel like he’s a real equal too. And he pushes me in the best ways,” she added. “I really like being married. It’s fun.”

Gwyn also said that her man got her back into acting. She recently admitted that she isn’t “passionate” about show biz anymore, but thanks to Brad, she still dabbles in her former career. “I married a TV writer … he’s fantastic but he sort of dragged me back to the old job,” she said at the Advertising Week Panel in New York on Thursday, September 26.

The actress was previously married to Chris Martin and she shares two children with the Coldplay rocker: Apple, 15, and Moses, 13. The two called it quits back in 2014 after 10 years of marriage. According to Gwyn, Brad, 48, and Chris, 42, get along swimmingly due to “conscious uncoupling” and added that both are “amazing men.”

Conscious uncoupling is defined as the ending of a marriage but a positive new beginning for those involved, according to Goop. Gwyn thought this approach to divorce would be best for her family. “Chris and I really thought we would love to do this in a way that we remain a family, even though we’re not a couple.” She says although people didn’t understand the concept at first, but now, “It’s something that people are like, ‘Oh wait, yeah this might be a good thing to do.’”

Congrats on your first wedding anniversary! Keep doing things your own way, Gwyn.
