Fans Think Nicki Minaj Reignited Her Feud With Cardi B in Pop Smoke’s ‘Welcome to the Party’ Remix
More bad blood? Nicki Minaj joined Pop Smoke on his hit song “Welcome to the Party” remix, and fans think that the rapper has reignited her feud with archenemy Cardi B. The 36-year-old raps, “All my pretty bitches, high-saddity bitches / Got a milli bitches on go / All these silly bitches, I’ma kill these bitches / Yo Pop, who the f—k want smoke? / Keep-keep it real, you really mad / ‘Cause your baby dad used to like me though / I-I ain’t f—k him ‘cause I ain’t want him.”
Of course, fans immediately flooded the comments section with their theories. One person wrote, “NICK KICKED CARDI OUT OF THE PARTY,” while another echoed, “If you think about it, they both threw shots at Cardi … I love it.” A third chimed in, writing, “Let’s all say it … Buh bye, Cardi Bacardi. It was nice seeing you.”
The “Megatron” singer even retweeted a few fan reactions on Twitter, and she couldn’t help but feel all the love and support from her fandom, a.k.a. Barbies. Earlier this week, Nicki was on “The Joe Budden Podcast,” and she spoke about how Twitter and Instagram users ranked the top 50 rappers of all time. “I would feel so f—king crazy if I had number ones and Grammys and ain’t on nobody top 50 list,” she said seemingly referring to Cardi — who won a Grammy for best rap album and had two number one singles. Meanwhile, Nicki, still hasn’t won a Grammy for her work.
Nicki also explained how she rose to fame all on her own. “[I came] in this game with an authentic come up, writing raps and doing what the f—k was really actually necessary,” she said. “No Instagram, no reality shows, no sucking DJ’s d—ks. Was Nicki referring to Cardi’s time on the reality show Love and Hip Hop?
Of course, Cardi, 26, clapped back on Twitter. “One year and some change later, and my album is still SELLING,” she captioned a photo of album sales from around the world. “Only list I give a f—k about. Have a beautiful day, everybody!”
Later on, the “Bodak Yellow” crooner uploaded a ~shady~ video that seemingly referred to Nicki. “Have you ever had somebody sooo obsessed with you?” she wrote. “S—t starts to feel a little creepy. Truly spooky.”
As fans recall, Nicki and Cardi got into an altercation during New York fashion week in September 2018. Since then, the music stars claimed they buried the hatchet. Welp, that seems like it’s far from the truth now.
Round two, anyone?!
