She’s really with the s–ts! Cardi B got a ton of backlash because of the way she acted on Friday, Sept. 7, at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week, where she tried to fight fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj. But fans who knew Cardi from back in her days as a reality star on VH1’s hit TV seriesLove & Hip Hop: New York know that she was always ready to pop off on sight — and the infamous red shoe that she threw at Nicki during their altercation wasn’t the first time she’s done something like that. She also threw a shoe at one of her co-stars during the LHHNY Season 7 reunion! Click through the gallery below to see all of the times Cardi B got into fights on LHHNY.
Cardi was introduced to Love & Hip Hop: New York fans on Season 6 as a “regular, degular, shmegular girl from the Bronx” who was also a stripper. She was famous on social media for her funny and outrageous video rants, but at that point, she was also working on her come up in the music industry and she was working with NYC hip-hop radio staion Power 105.1’s DJ Self and his Gwinin team. Cardi explained that sometimes DJ Self would mix business with pleasure and suggested that they were hooking up — which is why she was upset when she found out he had a girlfriend named Yorma and he brought her with him at their friend Mariahlynn’s birthday party.
Cardi went up to DJ Self and Yorma and Yorma stood up, and that’s when the women started arguing. “I used to f–k with him and I’m still f–king with him,” Cardi said, and immediately snatched Yorma by the hair.

“You know a girl have beef with me, she gon’ have beef with me forever.”
After Cardi fought DJ Self’s girlfriend, she confronted him at the studio. She told Self not to bring Yorma to any future bookings or events that they would need to attend together because, “You know a girl have beef with me, she gon’ have beef with me forever,” she said.
That iconic line was tweaked for the chorus for her song 2016 “Foreva,” on her first mixtape titled Gangsta B—h Music Vol. 1: “You know me, I be with whatever / If a b—h beef with me, we gon’ beef forever.”

Cardi once admitted that she had an issue with fighting.
At her manager’s suggestion, Cardi and her friend and fellow rapper Bianca Bonnie attended an etiquette class taught by co-star Tara Wallace, and Cardi revealed that she was aware that her tendency to pop off on sight could negatively affect her career.
“I could be in a party and whatnot and there’s so many people from the industry and people that could help me that I could network with — but if I see somebody I don’t like, all that goes out my head and I just wanna pop off,” she said.

She stood her ground against certified creep Peter Gunz.
During the reunion, Cardi elaborated on her view of relationships with men and explained that she would only sleep with a man if they had something to offer her in return, like paying her bills or her rent or giving her money. Peter said that mentality was “hoeing” and she clapped back.
“Look what you gave Amina and Tara — babies. That’s it. Are you paying both of their rent? You know you not paying their rent,” she said and then brought up his love triangle with both women. “Men like you are the type of men that I be talking about. You need to get from these guys what you want. You get p—y out of both of them and what are they getting in return? They look stupid on TV.”
At that point, Peter got upset and he insulted Cardi. “You don’t know me like that. I don’t know if one of your butt shots leaked into your bloodstream but you being very disrespectful right now,” he said, bringing up Cardi’s infamous butt job.

They were separated before things got physical.
Security intervened, but Cardi did not back down as Peter walked away.
“[You] a old washing up n—a that be f—king b——s’ life up and they reputation. [Amina] is a talented a– woman and Tara is a smart a– woman and you got them looking dumb on TV,” Cardi continued. “Men like you need to get used. Love your wives and love your kids. Have more respect for them. Look how you show your daughters how women should get treated. You think that’s good?”

Haters get her “tight.”
Cardi returned for Season 7 and her life had changed. After her first season on the show, she started to get more opportunities and her music career started to take off after she started working with famed hip-hop producer Swift On Demand. But with more money came more problems.
“When I was in the hood, I had like three haters and it’s cool because I could keep my eyes on them,” Cardi told her sister Hennessy, who joined the show on Season 7 as a supportive character in Cardi’s storyline. “But now it’s just like a thousand people that hate on me in one day and that just be killin’ my mental, like that s–t gets me tight.”

Cardi’s beef with Asia started with a text message.
Cardi has a flirty relationship with her producer. While working with Swift in the studio one night, Cardi was using Swift’s phone to write down her ideas for songs. She said she saw incoming text messages from someone in Swift’s phone named “Wifey,” and that’s when she found out that Swift not only had a girlfriend named Asia, but that Asia was talking about Cardi and insulting her. Since then, it was on.
“When I see her I’m gonna throw her a– in a mother f–king ditch,” Cardi told Swift. “When I see her, I’m gonna beat her a–. I need you to know that she cannot come around me.”

Queen Petty LaBelle
After seeing all of the things that Asia was saying about her, Cardi vowed that it would be an all-out war between them.
“I don’t think his girlfriend how the f–k I give it up. Now I’ma get petty and now when I see her, I’ma smack her on sight. You know me. I’m Petty LaBelle,” she said.

“Welcome to New York, b—h.”
During the season, Swift’s girlfriend Asia decided to surprise him by traveling to New York to visit him while he was on tour and she stopped by his hotel room and setting up a romantic scene for them. But when he walked in with Cardi, things popped off. Cardi didn’t waste any time and she snatched Asia immediately, and even though it was a struggle, security eventually separated them.
“That’s what happen when you talk s–t about me. Keep my name out your mouth. And I’m not even f–king your man,” Cardi yelled. “Welcome to New York, b—h.”

“When you had a problem with me?”
Cardi asked that question when she came face to face again with Asia during the reunion. Cardi wanted Asia to explain why she was talking about her in those text messages to Swift. When Asia tried to ignore Cardi, she stood up and security quickly intervened.
But Cardi just got up so she could sit on Swift’s lap and rub it into Asia’s face that they were still hooking up.

“That’s what happens when you talk s–t.”
In the infamous shoe-throwing scene, Cardi reached down and took her shoe off and threw it as Asia while Asia was talking to the reunion host, and Cardi’s sister Hennessy quickly tried to join in but they were separated by security. As an explanation for why she threw the shoe, Cardi said, “Don’t you know New York b—–s is savages?”

“WHAT WAS THE REASON?”
After things settled down, producers allowed Cardi back on the set barefoot. Cardi admitted that it was wrong for her to flirt with Swift even though she didn’t know he had a girlfriend, but she said that Asia still had a problem with her regardless.
“At the end of the day, you still didn’t like me because you judge women like me,” she said. Asia said she had a reason to not like Cardi other than for the fact that she’s a stripper, and Cardi repeatedly yelled, “What was the reason?” at Asia in another infamous scene that will go down in GIF history.

“I’ll jump you again!”
Things got heated after Cardi accused Asia of judging her for being a stripper, but Asia didn’t back down. She accused Cardi of only fighting her because her sister was there so they could jump her, and Cardi said she’d do it again. Cardi and her sister literally jumped up from their seats, but security intervened.

“A-ha, b—h.”
Cardi seemed to be loving every second of her confrontation with Asia, and at one point, she got up and sat down on Swift’s lap again. “I know you mad,” Cardi said while mocking Asia after stealing her man.

She also had beef with Major.
Major got on stage to explain why she had beef with Cardi when they never even appeared in any scenes together that season. It stemmed back to when Major and Cardi used to dance together in clubs and once, Hennessy overheard Major talking about Cardi while she was dancing.
But Major said that they saw each other out in a club once and she claimed Cardi didn’t try to do anything. Cardi called Major a “p—y” and seconds later, both Cardi and her sister got up from the couch and ran up on Major.
Hennessy got to Major first and Cardi was tackled to the ground by a security guard, and Cardi’s friend Mariahlynn even jumped in before security intervened.

Hennessy always has Cardi’s back.
Since Hennessy made contact with Major first, Major threatened Hennessy after they were separated by security. “Hennessy — I got somebody for you, too. Watch,” Major said and that fired Cardi B right back up and defended her younger sister.
“And to everybody sayin’ that my sister tryna be like me — my sister’s really like me, though b—h. My sister’s like that. What’s up,” Cardi said.
