Another day, another Kim Kardashian rumor! The KKW Beauty mogul squashed rumors that she removed her ribs to fit into her 2019 Met Gala dress.

“I have never felt pain like that in my life,” Kim, 38, told WSJ. Magazine in an interview published on July 8. “I’ll have to show you pictures of the aftermath when I took it off — the indentations on my back and my stomach.” She added of the rumors, “I don’t even know if that’s possible.”

On May 7, Kanye West‘s gorgeous wife took to Twitter to gush over the now-iconic gown. “Year 7- 2019 Manfred Thierry Mugler For the house of Mugler. Mr. Mugler hasn’t designed in 20 years & made me the most magical dripping wet dress & printed latex dress w crystals!” she wrote. “I have to pinch myself, I am attending the Met Gala while on the cover of Vogue!!! God is good!”

At the time, however, fans were ruthless. “No, your surgeon is good,” one person fumed in the comments, while another speculated, “It looks like she has actually had ribs removed. Doesn’t look real — over plastic surgerized [sic]?”

Unfortunately, the mother-of-four ~kan’t~ seem to escape controversy no matter what she does. Most recently, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star received major backlash for the name of her new shapewear line, Kimono. In the same interview with the WSJ, she said the moniker was an “innocent” mistake.

“You would think we would have obviously thought it through a little bit deeper,” she told the mag.

Kim received so much backlash, in fact, that the reality TV starlet announced plans to change the name. “When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind,” wrote she in a series of tweets. “My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name. I will be in touch soon. Thank you for your understanding and support always.”

Considering people were literally spamming the Keeks with the hashtag #KimOhNo … a name change is probably for the best.
