Awkward. Tyga was clearly not in the mood to chat about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner while appearing on Good Morning Britain for an interview on Friday, July 5. The “Taste” rapper nodded his head the moment her name was brought up, and then gave a vague response.

Kate Garraway asked Tyga, 29, what it “was like dating somebody in the public eye when you already have such a big career,” and he smiled before revealing it was just a chapter in his life. “It’s just dating, you know what I’m saying? You date, you know what I’m saying? You move on, you date again, you move on,” he replied. “It’s just a part of life and a part of evolving and just learning.”

As far as if his time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians prepared him for “the big world,” the Grammy-nominated artist confirmed there really is no preparation. “You just have to learn from mistakes and grow better,” he explained to the hosts. The lyricist also dodged a question about if he regrets appearing on the hit reality television show or being “part of that.” Tyga responded, “Nah, I don’t really want to talk too much about it — it’s really, you know what I’m saying?”

Tyga was romantically linked to the makeup maven, 21, for three years and their public romance came to an end in 2017. The “Legendary” star previously did share his thoughts on their split, revealing they amicably parted ways. “You just get older, you get me? It was a relationship in front of the world, and that was it,” he said on Complex’s Everyday Struggle in February 2018. “She has her new life, I have my new life and that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems.”

Kylie has since found love with rapper Travis Scott, 28, and they welcomed their first child together — a daughter named Stormi in February 2018. The couple is still going strong now.
