Chanel West Coast Claps Back at Haters Who Called Her Out for Using a Filter on a Family Photo
Filter lovers rejoice! Chanel West Coast slammed haters who lurked in the comments of her family photo from the Lakers game on Christmas Day. The 31-year-old hit back at trolls who criticized her for using a filter and editing her holiday memento.
“It’s a Snapchat filter, relax,” the Ridiculousness star replied to a comment which read, “Holy Facetune Batman!” referring to the glossy exterior Chanel’s filter gave her papa. “How much makeup does he wear,” another hater wrote. “It’s a filter, get a life,” the TV personality clapped back.
Another user added, “That filter tho [sic],” with several laughing emojis. “It’s a pic off Snapchat and I like filters,” Chanel wrote with a shrugging emoji, defending her choice to upload an edited photo of her family to the ‘gram.
Prior to Chanel’s troll takedown, the rapper celebrated the holidays with her blended family. “First Christmas with my mom and dad together and my stepmom lol,” Chanel captioned a photo of her family shared on her Instagram Story. Growing up, Chanel split her time between her mom, who was based in L.A., and her dad, who was a DJ in New York City. Now, it all makes sense!
In the throes of holiday cheer, Chanel took a moment to send a message to some of her followers who may be insincere. “I don’t appreciate fake love,” she wrote on her Story. “Don’t like my s–t if you never [want to] like anything to do with my music. Thanks,” she said with praying hands and heart emojis.
Chanel has developed a reputation for taking down the haters, and the same applies to those who take a stab at her family. Back on December 18, one troll took aim at her upbringing and Chanel was not having it. “Dudley from Hollywood Imfso [sic] only thing you struggled doing was understanding what your Spanish housekeeper was saying,” the troll wrote, addressing Chanel by her legal name: Chelsea Chanel Dudley.
“I grew up with a single mom and worked since I was 15 years old. I never had no housekeeper growing up [lmfao] stfu and sit down,” the beauty hit back. “What makes people like you think they know other people’s life stories??? It’s hilarious!” she wrote with laughing and shrugging emojis. “What else [have] your psychic abilities led you to think you know??? LMAO.” Aside from Chanel’s daily dose of drama, it seems like all is well and good in the West Coast household.
