Kailyn Lowry Reveals the Real Reason Lux’s Hair Is So Long and It Has to Do With His Dad

The conversation started in the comment section of Kailyn’s new Instagram photo, showing her adorable sons bonding while rocking similar attire.

The reality star has three boys, Isaac (shared with her ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln (shared with former flame Javi Marroquin), and Lux (shared with Chris).

Several fans were raving over how precious her kids are, while one in particular politely asked a question about Lux’s lengthy locks.

“Not trying to be rude, just curious. Is the reason why you grow Lux’s hair long due to family tradition, culture, religion, spirituality, etc? I was curious because in my culture, it is [normal] for boys and men to have long hair ⁠— Métis,” the comment read.

Clearing the Air

Kailyn, 27, shared the real reason why in her response. “His dad always had long hair and it just suits Lux. When he tells me he is ready for a cut, we will cut it.”

Long Hair, Don’t Care

Several of the MTV alum’s followers were in agreement, mentioning how cute it looks on the toddler. “He has beautiful hair. Actually jealous lol,” one wrote. “I think the long hair style suits him just well tbh,” another added.

Dealing With Nay-Sayers

Unfortunately, Kailyn has been subject to criticism over her son’s mane before. She previously fired back at some shady comments.

“I don’t tell people to tape your mouth shut cause you’re ignorant,” the author wrote in September 2018. “Don’t tell me what to do with my children.”

Keeping It Real

To no surprise, haters are still coming out of the woodworks to shade Kailyn. On her recent Instagram post, she confirmed there hasn’t been a single occasion where she’s posted something without receiving a rude remark.

Even her latest pic had some of her fans sounding off. “Lincoln ain’t looking very wacky,” one person commented. “All that money and this is the best you can do.”

Handling It Like a Pro

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know I needed money to allow my kids to dress themselves in what THEY felt was wacky,” Kailyn clapped back.

At least it made them happy!

On the recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn revealed that her third baby daddy wanted their son, Lux, to appear on the show more infrequently.

However, Kailyn felt the opposite, noting how she wanted to include Lux because he is part of her life as a mother of three.

“Chris does not want the baby to be filmed, and he’s coming to get the baby and will bring the baby back when it’s done,” the reality star explained after Chris texted her.

“I’m pretty sure it’s about people recognizing the baby out in public — it bothers him,” Kailyn continued. “I don’t know. It’s a battle I’m not choosing.”

Meeting in the Middle

Kailyn ultimately decided that she would come to a compromise and not film Lux if Chris specifically asked her not to that day.

“I want to show my life with all three of my kids, not just the older two,” she explained.
