Clapping back. Former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans took to Instagram on Friday, August 27, to seemingly deny rumors swirling around about her new beauty brand, JE Cosmetics. After rumors circulated online claiming Jenelle’s cosmetics line was dropped by its manufacturer and public relations company, the 27-year-old shared a message with her fans regarding the alleged drama on her Instagram Story. Scroll through the gallery below for more details.
The rumors started circulating on Friday morning after a fan took to social media, claiming that they had gotten in touch with the JE Cosmestics manufacturer, XJ Beauty, and that the company allegedly said they decided to no longer work with Jenelle.

“OK, Big update: I emailed XJ Beauty, the company that was handling the products for Jenelle and finally got a response. They are no longer working with Jenelle due to not agreeing with her ethics regarding what is on social media (see email below),” they wrote on Twitter.

The fan shared a screenshot of what she claimed to be the response from XJ Beauty. “After what we saw happened in social media we saw something that our company does not stand for. We have already cut the ties/and did the business relationship with JE cosmetics,” the alleged letter read.

“So XJ beauty has nothing to do with JE cosmetics as of now. The Shoptify store is currently under transfer, but we will be able to still refund you,” the alleged email continued.

“Another thing is that we saw your photo of the product, we believe those black dots are fibers from the velvet box in the packaging,” the alleged email continued seemingly referring to a common complain about Jenelle’s Universal Eyebrow Kit from customers who bought the product. Many of them were upset to find that there were hair-like fibers in the eyebrow wax in the kit.

After nearly two years of teasing fans, Jenelle launched her Universal Eyebrow Kit earlier this month during New York Fashion Week. Shortly after, fans who purchased the kits started posting negative reviews online.

One of the negative reviews came from beauty blogger and makeup artist Forever Makeup by Samantha, who wasn’t pleased with the results.

Jenelle refrained from commenting about her customer’s thoughts about the quality of her brow kit, but she seemed to draw the line at the rumors about the company being dropped by its manufacturer.

“Due to the issues with the other company we were working with, we have decided to cut ties. We are sorry for anyone not happy with their kits. We will be doing meet and greets/giveaways for the kits while coming up with new products!” read a since-deleted message posted on Jenelle’s Instagram Story.

“Well Jenelle, looks like your makeup kit was a big FAIL!! 😂😂😂,” one fan wrote. Another fan added, “Oh my gosh give it up Jenelle … you’ll never be anything now. Anything you try to do will just be proven crap. Your best bet is to just back away, stop trying … go get real jobs and just go away.”
