Novalee Baltierra Helps Parents Catelynn And Tyler Reveal Their Baby’s Gender In The Cutest Way Ever!
HUGE congratulations are in order for Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, who just revealed the gender of their third bundle of joy on Oct. 17! The couple enlisted the help of their precious three-year-old Novalee to help announce whether their next baby would be a boy or girl, and it looks like Tyler is still going to be outnumbered!
“I am such a pretty little girl, my mommy and daddy wanted another one to be their world,” says a sign held by little Novalee on Tyler’s Instagram. “So as our world gets a little bigger, I just can’t wait to be a big sister.” Her face says it all, she’s just as excited about the news as her loving parents!
“I was so shocked that it was a girl because I for sure thought it was a boy!” Catelynn, 26, confided in Us Weekly. “Tyler knew the sex before I did. When we did our gender reveal, I was so shocked I almost cried because I wanted a boy so badly. I’m super excited it’s a girl now. Since our miscarriage, I just am thankful to get another chance, and as long as it’s healthy, that’s all that matters!”
Tyler, 26, has also gushed about how badly he wants a son in the past, and now the couple isn’t ruling out still trying to have a boy in the future. “[We’ve] talked about trying again,” said Cate. “We definitely want to have a boy, but if God only wants us to have girls, then that’s just what it is. It will be a houseful of ALL girls! Poor Tyler!”
Originally, Tyler admitted that he wasn’t exactly thrilled about the pregnancy. He said that they were using “every kind of protection” to avoid a pregnancy when Cate got back from rehab, so it was quite a shock when they got pregnant anyway. Luckily, he’s since come around and seems over the moon to give Nove the little sister she’s been dreaming of.
Nova herself couldn’t be happier. Just one day earlier, Ty posted a video of his princess jumping up and down and kissing a sonogram of her new little sister. We just can’t wait to see what an amazing big sis she’ll be once the baby is here. Congrats guys!
