Not a fan. Briana DeJesus took to Twitter on Wednesday, Feb. 28, to insert herself into the current debate about gun control after the deadly shooting at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in which 17 people lost their lives. According to the Teen Mom 2 star, 23, she doesn’t believe teachers should be armed despite what others may think. See what Bri had to say in the video above.

After sharing her stance, the mom-of-two — who shares daughter Nova, 6, with ex Devoin Austin, and daughter Stella, seven months, with ex Luis Miguel — revealed that she often worries about her children given the horrific occurrences of gun violence that have taken place in the United States over the last several years.

"As a parent I know I won’t be able to protect my kids every second go the day. And I would want their teachers to luv and protect like I would," Briana tweeted, "but giving teachers guns just isn’t right and spending 67 [million dollars] is crazy."

Briana’s comments come just days after President Donald Trump voiced his support for teachers carrying guns in schools. The ex-Celebrity Apprentice host took to Twitter — his favorite form of communication — on Feb. 22 to let it be known that he believes "gun adept teachers" should be given weapons to carry during class time.

"What I said was to look at the possibility of giving concealed guns to gun adept teachers with military or special training experience — only the best," Donald, 71, tweeted. "20% of teachers, a lot, would now be able to."

He added, "I want highly trained people that have a natural talent, like hitting a baseball, or hitting a golf ball, or putting. How come some people always make the four-footer and some people under pressure can’t even take their club back, right? They can’t even take their club back."
