Our hearts are going out to Beth Chapman. Recently, the Dog the Bounty Hunter star has been fighting her second battle with cancer, and now she’s also mourning a late friend. In a post shared to Twitter, the reality star revealed that one of her close friends and a member of the #DogPound had passed away. In a sweet message posted Tuesday, February 19, Beth shared that her friend had “fought a long and hard fight,” but had sadly passed away. Watch the video above to see her tribute, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Luckily, the star has her husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, to lean on during the difficult times. Just a few days earlier, she wrote him his own little love note on social media. “My Valentine never disappoints,” she shared, posting a photo of the gorgeous flowers he gave her for the holiday. They also recently celebrated the bounty hunter’s 67th birthday, which was sure to be a special night for the couple.

Recently, Beth, 51, seems to be doing her best to stay positive. She’s been practically glowing lately while at home in Hawaii, and the couple recently welcomed their first great-grandson together in January 2019. “My first great grandbaby. He’s adorable and he’s precious and he came five weeks early to meet me,” the star shared on Instagram with a photo of her and her little one. “Nothing more beautiful or inspiring than the birth of a new baby. A new generation of Chapmans. You will be an amazing father I’m very proud of you,” she told 23-year-old step-grandson, Dakota Chapman.

Since her November 2018 diagnosis, she hasn’t slowed down one bit, focusing on spending time with her family and working on their company. “She’s still trying to cook and get involved in my bounties and business,” Dog told Us. “She’s still trying to do everything… Beth is the kind of girl who likes control. She’s trying to still advise me on my work, and I’m like, ‘Honey, I was Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you. Stay out of it!'”
