He’s back and better than ever! Ben Affleck’s new movie, Triple Frontier, is his first project since he completed rehab and finalized his divorce from ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The thriller focuses on five military veterans who reunite to rob a drug lord in South America. Of course, things get messy, and the group has to try and survive. The movie is set to premiere on Netflix and is out in select theaters March 2019.

The last movie that the 46-year-old starred in was Justice League, which premiered in 2017. In those last two years, a lot has changed for the actor. This past August, the Good Will Hunting star entered rehab for alcohol addiction.

After he completed a 40-day stint at The Canyons in Malibu in October, he thanked his fans in a heartfelt statement. “This week I completed a 40-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care. The support I have received from my family, colleagues, and fans means more to me than I can say. It’s given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others. Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle.”

The Hollywood star continued, “Because of that, one is never really in and out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family. So many people have reached out on social media and spoken about their own journeys with addiction. To those people, I want to say thank you.”

It seems like Ben is trying to be the best dad to his kids. On Dec. 9, he took his three children — Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel — to church with his ex. He looked healthy and seemed to be in great spirits.

A source told People, “They really like to do things as a family, be it outings, church, cooking, or watching movies. They have both had some ups and downs this year, and they seem to be in a good place.”

We’re hoping that this new movie is a success for Ben.
