Ben Affleck Reportedly Feels Like A ‘Total Failure’ As His Kids Get Close To Jen’s New Man
Even though Ben Affleck has dated his fair share of women since his split from Jennifer Garner, he can’t seem to let her be happy. When news broke that Jen was seeing John Miller, Ben was “devastated,” a source told Heat magazine. Now, Ben is reportedly worried that his kids will have a better relationship with the Cali Group CEO than the Batman v Superman actor.
A source told the outlet, “Ben realized that there might be a stepfather in the children’s future and he felt like a total failure. He somehow thought Jen might remain single forever, and that no man would ever spend any time with his kids. But he knows he needs help and wants to be the best dad possible.”
“When Ben and Jen met up with the kids, they kept talking about mommy’s new friend and how much fun he was. They were saying how he knows how to cook and doesn’t like alcohol, which really got to Ben,” the insider continued.
Jen has avoided dating up until now. Oh, how a year can change everything! In November 2017, the 13 Going on 30 actress confessed to an Australian outlet, “I haven’t been on a date and I am not interested in dating. People want to set me up and I am just like, ‘No thank you!’”
While Ben’s previous relationships haven’t lasted that long, Jen’s new boyfriend looks like he could be here to stay. Apparently, the two “are planning to spend the upcoming holidays together,” and they’re even “planning to go on a romantic getaway,” a source revealed to Us Weekly.
The source continued, “The relationship continues to be extremely serious. John is head over heels in love with Jennifer.”
See ya, Ben! Sounds like Jen is happier and doing better than ever — which is refreshing to see.
