Bitter Exes? Never Heard of ‘Em! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Step Out for a Coffee Date

Despite the fact that the Gone Girl actor, 46, and Alias alum, 46, finalized their divorce in late 2018, Ben and Jen seemingly still have a lot of love for each other. In fact, this is the second time in less than a month that the pair has hit the town together. 

Of course, we aren’t suggesting that there are any ~romantic feelings~ left between them. After all, both A-listers have found new partners — Jen is dating businessman John Miller and Ben has reunited with ex-girlfriend Lindsay Shookus — however, we just have to admire their relationship as coparents.

Ben and Jen are constantly making an effort to spend quality family time with their kids, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7. See that, Hollywood? It is possible to raise kids in separate households. 

Question is, will the former flames be able to keep things copacetic if stepparents are introduced into the equation? Well, we might be finding out sooner than we thought! A source recently confessed to In Touch that Ben and Lindsay, 38, are getting pretty serious.

“Ben has been telling those close to him that his biggest mistake was letting Lindsay go. Now that he’s sober and she’s giving him a second chance, he refuses to let her slip away again, and he’s asked her to move in,” the source said.

Moving in doesn’t technically mean a proposal is in the pair’s future, but it’s certainly a big step! Thankfully, Jen is beyond smitten with her beau, 40. So, there’s likely no jealousy.

“He’s the man of her dreams — stable, intelligent, successful, funny and he treats her like a princess,” an insider previously told Life & Style of Jen’s feelings about John. D’aw, how great is that? We’re so happy to see Ben and Jen thriving together and as individuals. That’s the ultimate goal, people.
