Ben Affleck and GF Lindsay Shookus Are Talking About Moving In Together
Big moves. Ben Affleck and girlfriend Lindsay Shookus are talking about moving in together, In Touch has learned. “Ben has been telling those close to him that his biggest mistake was letting Lindsay go. Now that he’s sober and she’s giving him a second chance, he refuses to let her slip away again, and he’s asked her to move in,” a source tells In Touch.
It looks like second time’s the charm for the couple as they appear to be in it for the long run, despite calling it quits in September 2018. The 38-year-old Saturday Night Live producer “was in the process of moving in with Ben when they broke up in September.” The duo was recently spotted rekindling the flame over dinner on February 23, at Katsuya in Brentwood, California.
The blonde beauty and the 46-year-old actor are very career and family oriented — but work on the opposite coasts. “Lindsay loves working for SNL, which films in NYC, and she has a young daughter who’s based there too,” a source tells In Touch. The distance has been a struggle for the two and just did not make the heart grow fonder. Now, Lindsay is “willing to split her time between the two coasts and is moving some of her belongings into Ben’s place.”
Life has been looking pretty good for the dad-of-three these days! The movie star recently attended the premiere for his latest movie Triple Frontier on Wednesday, March 6, looking healthy and stylish. He was seen rocking a red burgundy suit, while posing for pics with his costars on the red carpet.
The pair decided to part ways last summer due to Ben having to get his s–t together. Shortly after their split, the Oscar winner’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, staged an intervention with a sober coach which eventually led him to complete a 40-day-rehab treatment program. However, it’s really no surprise that dynamic duo is back and better than ever, as the two never stopped speaking. “[Lindsay] still reaches out to check on how he’s doing,” a source told In Touch at the time. “She and Ben parted as friends, it wasn’t this nasty breakup that some have said. He needed to get his life in order, by that I mean get sober.”
As for tying the knot … well it’s going to take some time, folks. “After everything that’s happened, Lindsay’s guard is up. She loves Ben and also wants to make it work, but she isn’t ready to give up her whole life just yet!”
