At last! Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown announced he is finally going to meet his son, River, and get to hold his baby boy for the first time. The Discovery Channel alum posted a video sharing the big news on Wednesday, September 23, sharing how over the moon he is to spend time with his bundle of joy.

“Hey everybody! Guess where I am going right now,” Bear, 33, shared, revealing he was “on his way” to see his new addition and “could not be more excited.”

“This is going to be so, so, so awesome,” the TV personality added. “I cannot wait. Thank you everybody for sticking with me and everything!”

Bear and his former fiancée, Raiven Adams, welcomed their first child together back in March. The exes called off their engagement in September 2019 and have since been trying to put their drama behind them for the sake of their little one.

Last month, the reality star shared how thrilled he was to see his mini-me in an exclusive statement with In Touch, revealing the coronavirus outbreak was one of the unforeseen circumstances keeping them apart. “With the virus that’s been going around, [I] haven’t felt like it would have been safe to visit River,” Bear said in August. “But now they seem to have [enough tests] to see if you’re infected, so I won’t have to worry about infecting River or my parents when I return home!”

Afterward, Raiven said her ex Bear “has always been welcome to see” River in her own exclusive statement to In Touch

“He is acting like he can’t see him, which is very strange … I’ve even offered to bring our son to him,” she added. “Hopefully when he meets him, it will change his view and help him focus on our son. Custody should always be about healthy and safe ways to have the best relationship with both parents.”

Raiven and their son reportedly relocated to Texas following their split and he shared an update just last week, confirming she was bringing River for a visit.

Bear’s family recently suffered a “devastating loss” when a fire swept through their mountain and Washington home in August. Luckily, his brood followed-up with a video message, confirming their family was safe and staying positive amid repairs.

His meetup with River will likely be another silver lining!
