Ben Affleck and Ex-Girlfriend Lindsay Shookus Spotted Out Together 6 Months After Split

Are Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus back together? It looks like they’re at least still friends because they were spotted hanging out together several times over the weekend. On Saturday, February 23. Ben, 46, and Lindsay, 38, went out to dinner at Katsuya in Brentwood, California, according to Us Weekly.

It seems like the Justice League actor spent the day with Linsday — according to photos obtained by The Daily Mail, he met up with the Saturday Night Live producer for coffee at Starbucks. In the pics, Linsday ran in to grab two iced coffees while Ben waited in the car.

Their coffee run was the first time that the exes have been seen together since they broke up in August 2018 after more than a year of dating. Shortly after their split, Ben’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner staged an intervention with a sober coach to convince the Gone Girl star to enter rehab for his alcohol addiction. He eventually agreed and he went on to complete a 40-day rehab treatment program.

But even after all those months, Linsday still kept in touch with Ben. “[Lindsay] still reaches out to check on how he’s doing,” a source previously revealed to In Touch. “She and Ben parted as friends, it wasn’t this nasty breakup that some have said. He needed to get his life in order, by that I mean get sober.”

Insiders previously revealed to Life & Style magazine Ben is so committed to his sobriety that he is “taking a year off from dating,” which includes “no sex.” But Linsday seems to be willing to wait.

“They had a very good, grown-up relationship, and they had a lot of fun together. They were very compatible,” the source noted. “Lindsay is still following Ben on social media and she still likes his photos. If he called her today and said let’s meet up, she’d be there in a heartbeat.
