Anti-Fur Activist Yells at Chrissy Teigen for Wearing Fur at NYC Event: ‘You Heartless Murderer!’
She’s brushing off the haters. On Tuesday, April 30, an anti-fur activist yelled at Chrissy Teigen outside of an event for wearing fur.
In the video, the man is screaming at the 33-year-old for what she is wearing. “Shame on you, you heartless murderer!” he shouted. “Shame on you, Chrissy! Why do you hate animals so much, huh? Why do you hate animals? You jerk! You heartless, ugly jerk. You make me sick. You have an endless amount of money, and you still choose to wear real fur. Shame on you, you heartless murderer. Shame on you. You heartless piece of s–t, f–king scumbag.” However, the model didn’t seem to mind as she kept on taking pictures with people outside of the event venue in New York City.
The advocate, Robert Banks, took credit for the incident on his Facebook page. “I just shamed Chrissy Teigen for wearing real fur,” he captioned a photo of his finger pointing at the mom of two.
Many fans were quick to talk about the occurrence on Twitter and reveal they didn’t like the way Robert approached the Hollywood A-lister. One person wrote, “I would never wear fur but screaming at a celebrity will not get the message across. Education, kindness and the belief that those who do not choose to wear it will always be more productive. It’s @chrissyteigen’s decision — just trust that she will see it for herself someday,” while another echoed, “I don’t like that @chrissyteigen wears fur either, but why would you attack another woman’s looks? We are better than that.”
The outspoken beauty retweeted an image from the gala but has yet to respond to the episode. “Thanks @chrissyteigen and @antoni for lifting up @CityHarvest tonight!” Ted Allen from Chopped wrote on Twitter.

The Cravings author is no stranger to clapping back at online trolls. On April 15, Chrissy stood up for herself when people wouldn’t stop commenting on her appearance. “Tiegan [sic] likes to attack people, so I’m attacking her weight. Chubby needs to get to the gym,” read one comment in particular. “I hate to say this but … you are not a small person?” she quipped. “Also, I don’t care about my weight, sooooo this does not hurt.”
Haters, who needs ‘em?
